Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, “Nicolae Testemițanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, “Alecu Russo” Bălți State University and AO “InfoGroup”, as part of the European Researchers’ Night 2026–2027 project, announce the call for participation of young researchers who will serve as research ambassadors, promoting science and technology in schools and high schools.
The “Researchers in Schools” program, organized with the support of the European Commission and funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions as part of the European Researchers’ Night project, aims to bring science closer to the public, demonstrate the impact of research on social well-being and quality of life and stimulate young people’s interest in research careers.
Candidate profile
Undergraduate students, PhD students and early-career researchers who wish to develop their scientific communication skills and promote research activities among high school students are invited to apply for this position.
Responsibilities and activities
Throughout 2026 and 2027, the selected researchers will:
- Present their field of research to pupils students and teachers at selected high schools.
- Lead student visits to research laboratories, familiarizing them with the specifics of research activities.
- Maintain contact and collaboration with school groups throughout the program.
- Receive professional training in scientific communication, which will enable them to transform complex concepts into accessible and engaging messages for the general public.
